Project Overview

A key element of Mintec’s design brief was to provide a compelling environment which improved communication between staff and departments by eliminating or reducing physical division between the departments.  This inspired our designer Clare Bradshaw to connect the two levels with an open tread staircase with seamless glass balustrades.

Visual experience is important for both staff and visitors; the main entrance leads through to the boardroom designed with a unique circular window as a focal point.   Collaborative open plan working with both hot office and meeting space facilities cater for different working styles.   A bold colour pallet reflecting Mintec’s brand and energy completes the design.

Site works included, CAT A strip out,  mechanical, electrical and lighting upgrade and internal, external refurbishment and fit out works over a 21-week programme.

Rapport was responsible for design management, preparing project budgets and construction documentation, tender administration, and managing the selected principle contractor Parogon Contracts Ltd.
