Rapport’ have just completed a contract for Ancestry UK the UK’s favourite family history website, offering members access to 1 billion searchable UK family history records.

The project involved Ancestry relocating from their London office in Hammersmith to the 4th floor at Strand Bridge House in the heart of London’s West End, next to Somerset House. Rapport’ appointed as Project Managers, worked to ensure set cost constraints were met through the contract tender process and the project delivered high-quality results.

Design by M Moser Associates provides a multifunctional and vibrant work environment with an emphasis on natural materials and light. The inspired use of colour denotes Ancestry’s corporate image and provides a visual experience alongside a practical environment for all users.

Principle Contractor, Parogon Contracts Ltd delivered site works over a 12-week programme. Works included: fully glazed meeting facilities, complex joinery installations and high specification IT and audio systems.

Arranged over two floors, the space at Gloucester House includes a brand new interconnecting staircase to separate the floors and to create and encourage interaction across business groups and teams.

Rapport’ and our appointed main contractors Parogon Office Interiors are currently 5 weeks into the site programme of an 8-week build for Mintec UK.

Arranged over two floors, the works at Gloucester House include a new interconnecting staircase between floors designed to create and encourage interaction across business groups.

This is an impressive design, providing an open-plan environment for all users, catering to people’s different working styles, while leveraging current technology, and delivering smart state of the art solutions to an agreed cost and timeline. The new workspace boasts a collaborative mix of formal and informal facilities.

Our designer Clare Bradshaw has taken Gloucester House into the next millennium with her creative design and attention to detail.

Rapport’ have been appointed to manage the Mintec Global office design and relocation fit-project.

Mintec was founded in 1982, since then the organisation has been at the forefront of driving the use of innovative solutions and procurement tools to support the procurement function at both an operational and strategic level.

Working with leading suppliers across the globe in retail, manufacturing, and food service companies like Tesco and Brakes, their clients benefit from their unique statistical information and insightful market analysis that they can provide.

Project Overview

Currently based at Glory Park, High Wycombe the 4-month relocation process will see Mintec move into a 2-storey, 6,864 Sq ft building at Gloucester House, Bourne End, SL8.

The new office will provide predominantly an open-plan environment for all users, catering to people’s different working styles, while leveraging current technology, delivering smart state of the art solutions with an agreed cost and timeline.
