The Sagal Group are an independent, privately owned British company with a long history in furniture and design.

The Group occupies a unique space in the industry through their exclusive partnerships with high-quality furniture manufacturers throughout the UK and Europe allowing them to design and develop new products as well as tailoring their existing product portfolio to meet clients’ exact needs.

Rapport has formed a wonderful working relationship with Sagal over the years where clients are not bound by manufacturer specifications. Sagal can alter the size, colour, and finish to create beautiful furniture solutions wholly unique to a project.

We were delighted to use their expertise on our project with OCTO Telematics.

Octo

With just weeks to go until the completion and handover of our OCTO Telematics project at their new Global Head Quarters on Lombard Street, we were on site last week to oversee the final contract progress works.

OCTO Telematics turn driving data into analytics solutions that are transforming the insurance industry. Their technology captures and analysis behavioural, and contextual driving data to provide innovative solutions for their partners, and is powered by the largest telematics database in the world.

Our designer, Claire Bradshaw, has expertly visualised OCTO’s initial brief to create an inspiring, contemporary workspace that accommodates 70 staff and reflects the ethos of this visionary business.

Design concept:

The design concept from the beginning has revolved around OCTO’s branding and logo design.   On entering the 8th floor, visitors will be greeted with a beautiful reception desk, a bespoke circular ceiling and the latest technology in audio wall systems.  The boardroom will have a stunning 22 person board table handcrafted in American oak with credenza’s to match.  Surround sound video conferencing for connection to OCTO’s world partners.

Every detail has been thought through to encourage collaborative communication from the front of house through to the open plan workspace and full height glazed offices.  An impressive T.Point creates a juxtaposition between new technology and a restful facility.

2016 Surrey Digital Awards

Rapport’ have been  appointed to manage OCTO Telematics city office design and fit-out project.

OCTO specialise in the provision of Telematics services and systems for the Insurance and Automotive market and are currently based in Minster Court, EC3, London.

The 8-week  relocation process will see OCTO relocating to 67 Lombard Street, London, EC3 where they will occupy the 8th floor of 6,989 sqft  / 649 sqm.

The new office will provide open plan accommodation for 63 staff plus 9 offices and include a ‘state of the art’ 33 person conference and telepresence facility.
